Graham Oppy, PhD
Professor of Philosophy, and Head of the School of Philosophical, Historical and International Studies, Monash University
Over the past twenty years, Graham Oppy has devoted much of his research time to arguments about the existence of God. He has written extensively on ontological arguments; and at some length on cosmological arguments, teleological arguments, Pascal's wager, and arguments from evil. His current major projects include (a) a book on divine attributes; (b) a book on naturalism and religion; and (c) a set of edited volumes on multi-faith dialogue. With Nick Trakakis, he has recently completed a major project on the history of philosophy in Australia and New Zealand, which has spawned five edited volumes (a Companion, a collection of interviews, a collection of public lectures, and a two-volume history).
