Benjamin H. Arbour, PhD
Executive Director, Institute for Philosophical and Theological Research
Benjamin H. Arbour is the executive director of the Institute for Philosophical and Theological Research, and the Vice President of Operations for the Ethics and Political Economy Center. He holds a Ph.D from the University of Bristol. His recent work on systematic metaphysics was funded by a generous grant from The John Templeton Foundation. His research has been published in various peer-reviewed journals such as Bibliotheca Sacra, the International Journal for Philosophy of Religion, and Philosophia Christi. He has edited several books, including Evil and a Selection of its Theological Problems (with J.R. Gilhooly, Cambridge Scholars, 2017), Philosophical Essays Against Open Theism (Routledge, 2018), and Christian Theology and the Modern Philosophers (with Greg Ganssle, Zondervan Academic, forthcoming). He lives in Fort Worth, TX with his wife, Meg, and their four children: Wesley, Abby, Micah, and Noah.
