Please help support the EPS

Give today to support thoughtful, Christ-centered philosophy and your gift to the EPS will be doubled!

Dear Friend of the EPS,

I can't believe it. An anonymous donor had offered the Evangelical Philosophical Society a $15,000 challenge to double every donation we receive. Now, another donor has offered an additional $10,000 matching gift, making every dollar we raise double —dollar for dollar—up to our new $50,000 goal!

This is wonderful news, and something we've never had the opportunity to take advantage of before. The Matching Grant Challenge means that your gift of $50 becomes $100, $100 becomes $200, and so on. So, please help make this happen by giving before our newly extended September 30 deadline.

Acting on the Matching Grant will be timely and necessary for the EPS, since we are facing new financial strains while seeing more opportunities to spread thoughtful Christian philosophy across the globe. Some of our current challenges include:

  • The desire to offer digital versions of Philosophia Christi as well as offering single articles for purchase
  • The desire to strengthen our partnerships with international philosophical partners such as the European Leadership Forum and the Tyndale Fellowship.
  • The need to increase our reach through our Web site and social media portals
  • The need for new EPS employees to help us with our growing responsibilities
  • The rising cost of layout, printing, and mail fees for Philosophia Christi

Augustine once wrote, "Men go abroad to admire the heights of mountains, the mighty billows of the sea, the broad tides of rivers, the compass of the ocean, and the circuits of the stars, and pass themselves by."1 When the Evangelical Philosophical Society was founded, we saw that mainstream philosophy was something of a billowing sea, with no place for the serious Christian philosopher to set his feet. We created Philosophia Christi to be that harbor, presenting the solid ground of an informed, biblical view of the world through rigorous philosophical engagement.

Today, we have an opportunity to strengthen our jetties and increase our ability to provide sure footing for those seeking to understand the fundamental nature of reality. Will you stand with us as we make Christian philosophy stand out in the 21st century?

Will you partner with us and give a secure online gift today so it may be instantly doubled?

It's amazing to see all the Lord continues to do through the EPS, and in order to be faithful to our calling, we need the help of friends like you so we can continue what we started.

Thank you so much and may the Lord bless you,

Angus Menuge

P.S. Remember! Only gifts received before September 30 are eligible for doubling, so please provide your donation today.
