CALL for PAPERS: Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care

The Journal of Spiritual Formation and Soul Care is a peer-reviewed journal published twice yearly with the purpose of advancing the discussion of the theory and practice of Christian formation and soul care.

We are currently calling for contributions to a special issue on “Formative Reading of Scripture” for our Spring 2012 issue. Acceptable submissions are of original research and writing from theologians, biblical scholars, historians, philosophers, psychologists, and other scholars and Christian leaders who desire to interact with the topic. The submission deadline is August 1, 2011.

Submissions will be subject to a blind review process. The special issue will be published in spring of 2012. Include a 100–200 word abstract. Electronic submissions are preferred. Address all submissions to the special issue guest editors.
