2016 CALL FOR PAPERS: Southwest Regional Meeting of the Evangelical Philosophical Society

Conference Theme: The Nature of Divine Inspiration & Revelation

The Southwest Regional Evangelical Philosophical Society invites submissions addressing the topic of the Nature of Divine Inspiration & Revelation. While submissions concerning the conference theme will be given preference, submissions concerning any topic of philosophy, philosophical theology, or analytic theology are welcome and will be considered.

To submit a paper for the conference, an abstract of approximately 350 words should be sent to Tawa Anderson at tawa.anderson@okbu.edu. Participants will have approximately 30 minutes to present their papers followed by 10 minutes for Q&A.

The deadline for submissions is February 22nd. Notifications will be emailed as soon as possible after the submission deadline.

The plenary speakers are Dr. Douglas J. Moo (Wheaton College) and Dr. W. Edward Glenny (University of Northwestern, St. Paul). Registration is through the ETS and an overview of the conference and (eventually) registration information can be accessed here. Please note that the submission deadline and process on the etsjets page is for ETS, and may not reflect the EPS deadline or guidelines. Submissions for EPS should follow the guidelines above.

If you will need media support (audio, video, PowerPoint, etc.) indicate what you will need in your proposal. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate everyone. In addition, awards will be given to student-presenters for outstanding papers. If you would like your paper considered for an award, please indicate that in your proposal as well. Further details concerning conference registration, lodging and the program will be posted in January.
