Call for Papers: Special Issue of Synthese on the Epistemology of Modality

Papers are being accepted for review for publication in a special issue of Synthese, focusing on new directions in the epistemology of modality.

Submissions from non-western and non-analytic traditions are encouraged, along with papers on modal epistemology and specifically the epistemology of modality. Examples of topics include conditions for modal knowledge, whether modal beliefs are justified, the role of conceivability, counterfactual reasoning, and thought experiements in relation to evidence for modal beliefs, and others.

Antonella Mallozzi will be the guest editor and the submission deadine is December 31, 2017.
