Paper submissions are being accepted for the Graduate Epistemology Conference at the University of Edinburgh. The submission deadline is February 1, 2019, and entries will be notified by March 15th.

The University of Edinburgh will be hosting the 9th edition of the annual Edinburgh Graduate Epistemology Conference on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th of May 2019. This year, we are delighted to host Jason Baehr (Loyola Marymount University) and Mona Simion (University of Glasgow) as the keynote speakers.

The two day conference will consist of eight graduate students talks and two keynote speaker talks. Graduate speakers have 30 minutes to present their paper. Every graduate speaker will be appointed a respondent from Edinburgh or a neighboring university. This response plus Q&A will be a further 30 minutes.

We welcome submissions from all areas within epistemology. We especially encourage submissions from academics from underrepresented groups. We invite essays with a maximum length of 4000 words (excl. bibliographical references), accompanied by a 250 word abstract. All papers must be anonymised for blind review and submitted through Easychair, for which you can find the link here: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=egec19.

We cover the cost of accommodation as well as lunches and a conference dinner on the first night. Additionally, there are funds available to cover the cost of childcare for our speakers and attendees during the conference.

This conference is generously sponsored by the Eidyn Research Centre and the University of Edinburgh.
